Parts of California are experiencing an outbreak of the Virulent Newcastle Disease (vND). In an effort to contain the virus, the USDA and California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) are restricting the movement of live poultry as well as hatching/embryonated eggs into and out of affected areas. Additionally, the USPS is restricting the shipments of lives and hatching/embryonated eggs to and from zip codes 90000-93599 due to their postal routes, including the Los Angeles postal hub, falling within the restricted area.
If you are within the Quarantine Zone, we are unable to ship orders of lives or hatching eggs to you. Please keep us in mind for your future poultry needs after the quarantine is lifted. Check the Quarantine map to see if you fall within this area.
If you are not within the Quarantine Zone, but you are within the zip code restricted area, you can arrange to have your birds shipped to an alternate address outside of the zip code restriction. It is legal for you to pick up the birds and drive them back to your home or farm as long as you do not drive through the Quarantine Zone. Please see the map for suggested locations to ship to. You can also ship to any Nevada or Arizona address.
If you are using a post office for general delivery, please format your shipping address as follows:
