How long does it take to receive a refund?

Meyer Hatchery processes refunds immediately, but it could take several days for your bank to post the credit. In most instances, you will see your credit in a few days, but some banks hold funds for up to 30 days. If you have any questions about where your refund is once we have processed it, please contact your bank. 

When a charge is refunded the same day as the charge, it is handled as a reversal. This essentially means the transaction is voided, as if it never fully posted to your account. You may briefly see the charge listed as pending, but it would drop off rather than appearing as a completed charge and refund. As a result, you will not see either transaction reflected on your final statement.

Please keep in mind that we can only refund to the card used to place the order. 

If we are unable to process a refund to your credit card, we can send you a PayPal payment or mail you a refund check. Refund checks may take 2-3 weeks to process and arrive in the mail.
