My Sebastopol, Emden's, or Roman Tufted Goslings Have Some Gray or Black Feathers. Is This Normal?

As goslings develop and mature you will notice they will go through a lot of physical changes, one of which is coloring. Sometimes juvenile feathering does not match the mature feathering, making you question whether or not you received the correct breed. 

It is common for Sebastopol, Emden's, and Roman Tufted goslings to develop a few gray or black feathers as they grow. At 9, 15, and 21 weeks of age, they grow a new set of feathers and by 21 weeks they will display their mature feathering replacing the gray and black with white feathers.
