Falling Star Farms, LLC., dba Meyer Hatchery (hereby called Meyer Hatchery) is happy to extend an 8% discount on poultry and merchandise to our customers ordering more than $5,000.00 annually and 15% discount on poultry and merchandise to our customers ordering more than $15,000 annually. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of your relationship with Meyer Hatchery as a Wholesale Customer.
Our wholesale requirements:
The annual minimum purchase amount of $5,000.00 must be maintained each hatching season to remain eligible for wholesale. The Hatching Season is defined as the inventory release start date (typically the first of November) until the beginning of the next hatching season.
Your wholesale benefits:
Once you reach $5,000.00 in qualifying purchases, wholesale customers will receive an 8% discount on all future purchases of poultry or merchandise. The wholesale customer will also be automatically enrolled each consecutive year the account remains compliant. As a wholesale customer, you start accruing toward the annual minimum on your very first order.
By placing an order as a Wholesale Customer through Meyer Hatchery, you are agreeing to the following:
Policies:
Wholesale Customers are bound to Meyer Hatchery policies on the website. Special notes for wholesale customers are listed below:
Pricing: Meyer Hatchery requests that if you plan to resell day-old chicks, that you meet or exceed our retail price for each breed.
Retail Sales: Wholesale Accounts are not eligible for any sale pricing MH offers to their retail customers.
Relationship: This agreement shall not be construed as creating an employer/employee relationship or an employer/contractor relationship. You are a wholesaler vendor, not a partner or an extension of Meyer Hatchery. This relationship can be terminated at any time by either party.
Order Changes and Cancelations: Wholesale Customers cannot reduce, cancel, or reschedule orders within 2 weeks of the hatch date.
Placing an Order:
Orders should be placed on the Meyer Hatchery website. Log into your account before completing the checkout process to receive your wholesale discount as well as tax-exempt status, if applicable.
Reporting Losses: If you have losses, fill out the loss form. Losses must be reported within 48 hours of arrival to receive credit.
Payment Options: In addition to our regular forms of payment, Wholesale Customers can utilize Deferred and Net 15 option, if approved. Deferred declines and late payment will result in payment due at the time of ordering. Deferred is only available for chicks that are shipping more than 2 weeks out, otherwise, the order must be paid for immediately. Deferred payment is never acceptable for a merchandise order.
Meyer Hatchery Exclusives: Meyer Hatchery Exclusives are labeled on the Meyer Hatchery website and Wholesale Customers are not permitted to sell or advertise them online. Non-Lisa Steele exclusives can be purchased and resold in stores locally. Lisa Steele-designed Meyer Hatchery exclusives are not permitted to be purchased and/or resold in any capacity. Lisa Steele/Meyer Hatchery's exclusive breed names are not to be used on any other website or advertisement to advertise birds that originated from Meyer Hatchery. Violation of this will result in removal of the birds from your order with a warning. Repeat offenses will result in the removal of you from the Meyer Hatchery Wholesale Program.
Copyright Policy: Photographs, product descriptions, blogs, help desk articles, and all content found on the Meyer Hatchery website and social media accounts and any written media including our catalog are the sole property of Meyer Hatchery and are protected by US and International copyright laws. Wholesale Customers are responsible for all of their own original content. Violation of this will result in removal of the birds from your order with a warning. Repeat offenses will result in the removal of you from the Meyer Hatchery Wholesale Program.
