What are Bin Chicks?

From time to time, we may have extra chicks on a hatch date and those chicks become Bin Chicks in our retail store. Bin Chicks are chicks that are available for purchase in-store at a discounted price. The Bin Chicks are $3.75 each and are assorted female standard-sized chickens and bantams. Hard-to-ID breeds may be included in the bin, but will not be banded. Occasionally, there may be straight-run broilers available for $3.00 each or straight-run Broad Breasted White and Bronze Turkeys for $7 each. 

Bin Chicks are typically available after 4 pm EST on the hatch date. You can come to the store and pick out the chicks you would like. Bin Chicks can also be held for same-day pickup by calling or chatting ahead to confirm availability the day after the hatch. This will most often be Tuesdays. 

NPIP certificates are available by request. Please contact us if you need one for your 4-H project.
