Yes, currently only our Free Ship Cornish broilers are able to be vaccinated to aid in the prevention of Coccidiosis. This vaccine is in the form of a spray that is applied to the chicks the day they hatch. The spray does contain a dye, so chicks may arrive with a slight coloring. This will fade away as they mature and feather out.
It is very important to remember chicks vaccinated for Coccidiosis should not be fed medicated chick starter or given any coccidiostat (Amprolium). This would void the vaccine.
Organic Growers: the Coccidiosis vaccine is in compliance with USDA organic standards, but you should always verify with your certifying agency before vaccinating your chicks.
