How do I mix Grogel and feed it to my poultry?
Directions 100-dose: One package treats up to 100 chicks or poults, 200 pheasants, or 400 quail chicks. Simply mix dry contents of package with 1/2 cup of water. Use within 6 hours of mixing.
Directions 2000-dose: One package treats up to 2,000 chicks or poults, 4,000 pheasants, or 8,000 quail chicks. Simply mix dry contents of package with 2 quarts of water. Use within 6 hours of mixing
Guidelines for fewer chicks:
- 100 Chicks = 1 Packet of Grogel + 1/2 Cup Water
- 50 Chicks = 1 Teaspoon of Grogel + 1/4 Cup Water
- 25 Chicks = 3/4 Teaspoon of Grogel + 2 Tablespoons Water
- 12 Chicks = 3/8 Teaspoon of Grogel + 1 Tablespoon Water
If your order of chicks results in a quantity that falls in between, mix enough for the next-highest quantity. For example, if you ordered 15 chicks, mix enough for 25 chicks.
Mix your grogel and water until it turns into a gel consistency. Let rest for 1-2 minutes to ensure the water is fully absorbed and provided to your chicks in their brooder. Grogel lasts for about 6 hours after mixing. Discard any remaining gel after 6 hours.
